We will program your survey into our handheld devices and supply them to interviewers in the field (anywhere in the US or Canada). Our current Full-Service Research clients utilize this service when conducting research in multiple markets (not just in the Philadelphia market). The accuracy and quick turnaround of data makes this methodology particularly appealing. The benefits of using our RAPID-DATA Service over traditional paper and pencil methods are the following: Fast Turnaround -> At the end of the day, the interviewers will upload the data via a nearby Wi-Fi hotspot. After all of the data is uploaded to a remote server we can provide you with a Top-line report. Not long after, we will email you the complete data output ( Excel, SPSS, XML, or ASCII file). The typical turnaround time is less than 24 hours from the point of field completion to data output. Data Integrity -> All skip patterns and survey complexities are programmed into the device, leaving no room for interviewer error. No constant Internet Connection Required -> The survey software is an application that is stored internally on the device, so a constant internet connection is NOT required when conducting surveys. Secure Data -> The survey data that is collected gets stored on the device's internal memory AND a second copy is immediately stored on an installed microSD card for added security. When an interviewer is finished at the end of the day the device is synced at a Wi-Fi hotspot and the data is also stored on a secure server. The data remains on the device and on the microSD even after it has been uploaded to the server. Therefore, the data is saved in three places for added security. Keeps Respondents Engaged -> Conducting surveys on a handheld device keeps respondents engaged because it speeds up the interviewing process and has a more "interactive" feel to it. Eliminates Keypunch -> Since the data is entered directly into the device by the interviewer, there is no need to have data keypunched. This eliminates data entry costs as well as any data entry errors that can occur when inputting from a paper form. Open-ended Audio responses -> In addition to providing your standard text response for open-ended questions, our devices have the ability to record the "actual" voice of the respondent via audio capture. The audio files will be saved as wave files that link back to the specific surveys. Therefore, you can hear the respondents in their own words. All open-ended responses can be transcribed and coded to provide a meaningful output for analysis. Update Questionnaire at the Last Minute -> Sometimes questions need to be added or changed right before you go into the field with a project. With a simple Wi-Fi sync, these changes can automatically be done electronically. With paper and pencil, changes at the last minute can be difficult (if not impossible). Save a Tree, Save Time, Save Money -> Eliminates printing and paper costs. Also cuts down on your administrative time assembling and shipping questionnaires to the field. Data Processing Services Available -> As an add-on service, we also can provide you with cross-tabulations, tables, charts, graphs, and/or PowerPoint slides. Additionally, we can transcribe all open-ended audio responses into a text format. The open-ended responses can then be coded and tabulated to provide a more meaningful data output.
